Amy Beckett

RMT, BSc Kinesiology

My approach is slow and intentional. I focus on deep release of tense muscles and fascia while keeping nervous system regulation in mind. I believe in the power of slowing down and will often encourage patients to bring awareness to their breath as a way to deepen relaxation. My goal as a therapist is for my patients to feel heard and seen and to help them feel more at home in their bodies.

Areas of focus include: neck, shoulder, spine, hips, headaches and migraines, frozen shoulder, pre and postnatal, Women’s Health, anxiety and depression,

Personal Reflection:
My self-care is a balance of intentional slowing down and movement (journalling, meditation, stretching, lifting weights, walking, swimming).
