What is Kinesiology?
Kinesiology is the science of human movement, focused on helping the body function better through exercise therapy, movement retraining and education. At SALAS, our kinesiologists work with you to improve strength, mobility, balance and confidence, so you can move well and live fully. Sessions are often integrated with other care like chiropractic, physiotherapy or registered massage therapy to support your full recovery.
Our Approach
The SALAS Approach To Kinesiology
Our approach to kinesiology is simple: we meet you where you are and move forward together. Using tailored exercise programs, hands-on guidance and one-on-one coaching, we help you restore stability and function in a way that feels safe, supported and effective.
Kinesiology is especially helpful during active rehab, post-ICBC recovery and after an injury or surgery. It’s also highly effective for older adults looking to improve balance, coordination and stability. Whether you’re rebuilding strength or staying ahead of future issues, our kinesiologists help you move with more confidence and ease.

Is Kinesiology Right For You?
Kinesiology may be helpful if you’re experiencing:
- Recovery from injury or accident (including ICBC claims)
- Loss of strength, stability or range of motion
- Recurring movement-related pain or strain
- Weakness following surgery or extended rest
- A desire to build strength and prevent reinjury
